Endurance Series Treads are specifically engineered for outdoor applications. Thermally modifying the wood removes excess moisture and sugars, making it rot- and insect-resistant. Unlike traditional wood treads glued together, each Endurance Tread is bolted, eliminating weak points and ensuring long-lasting structural integrity.
Moisture & Rot Resistance: Thermal modification mitigates water damage and decay.
3.5″ Thick & Multiple Widths: 36″, 42″, and 48″ widths for a bold floating stair profile.

Endurance Handrail
To complement Endurance Treads, our Endurance Series handrails are engineered or naturally resistant to the elements (such as Ipe). Available in several profiles — including 6002, 6007, and 6001 Ipe —these rails deliver outdoor durability.

2205 Stainless Steel Components
2205 Stainless Steel stands above traditional 304 or 316 for exterior stairs and railing. It boasts a higher Pitting Resistance Equivalency Number (PREN), making it virtually immune to saltwater-induced corrosion. For exterior applications, we recommend powder-coated 2205 for your metal stringer, posts, and any metal components.
316 Isn’t Always Enough: 316’s PREN of 25 leaves it vulnerable in harsh coastal areas.
2205’s Strength: With a PREN of 34, it resists corrosion far better in salty or humid climates.
Long-Term Durability: We offer a 10-year warranty against structural corrosion, including coastal environments (except extremely corrosive regions like Long Island/Coastal Connecticut).
