The Switchback design maintains a compact footprint while giving creative functionality to the home. With the majority of activity taking place in the back of the first floor, it only made sense for the stairway to open into the dining area. The intricate wood patterns within these custom butcher block maple treads provide a warm and vibrant look. By combining the soft grays of the stone and marble with the matte black metal posts and ebony handrail, the materials create a captivating contrast in the entryway. The stainless steel cable railing runs provide strength for this structure without sacrificing the view.
